Welcome to Live.It!

I'm Alison, an American living in Italy for the past 5 years. I want to share the Italy I know via Live.It: the art, the culture, travel, and especially the food! The whole concept behind this blog is to get a unique look into Italian culture. I don't want you all just to visit Italy, I want you all to really Live.Italiano with me!

Before I begin posting, let me tell you a little bit about myself and my Italian life. I originally came to Italy for college. While studying art history in Rome, I fell in love with the lifestyle and decided to stay! My time here has been filled with a variety of jobs, from working as a tour guide at the Vatican Museums to selling luxurious children's clothing in a small-town boutique. More than that, my time in Italy is filled with amazing experiences! Living steps away from the Colosseum, walking the calle of Venice in the early morning, eating pizza in the city where it was created...Need I go on?! I currently live in the beautiful city of Naples with my husband and I am so excited to share it on Live.It.
